How much does brand protection cost? Published prices compared
By Alex Wrexford, author of The Takedown. Updated 4 November 2026.
Published brand protection prices for small brands start between $99 and $199 a month, and climb past $800 once per-marketplace pricing covers every marketplace. What you pay depends on whether a provider counts trademarks, marketplaces or products. The enterprise vendors don't publish prices at all. Below is every published price we could find, with the link and the date we checked it, so you can compare like with like.

What makes the price go up?
Four things, and every provider picks a different one to charge for:
- Trademarks. Charging per trademark makes sense for a company with a portfolio. For a small brand with one name it's mostly a floor price.
- Marketplaces. The common one. It looks cheap until a seller you've removed turns up somewhere you didn't pay for.
- Products and frequency. How many items are watched and how often they're checked. This is what actually drives the work, so it's what we charge for.
- People. Enterprise contracts often include analysts who review and file for you. That's real value, and it's most of the cost.
Why don't Corsearch and BrandShield publish prices?
Both sell mainly to large companies, and both route new buyers to a demo. When we checked on 4 November 2026, neither had a pricing page: corsearch.com/pricing and brandshield.com/pricing both returned a 404. We can't tell you what they charge, and we won't guess. If you get a quote, compare it on the same basis as the table above: what's counted, which platforms, and who does the filing.
What does doing it yourself cost?
No subscription, just time. Searching each marketplace for your photos, deciding which listings are copies, filling in each platform's form and checking back later. For a few listings a year, that's the right answer. Use our guides on writing a DMCA notice and where to report. The cost shows up when copies arrive every week and the same sellers keep relisting.
Who files the takedowns?
It differs, and it matters. Red Points says it reports listings to the platforms for you. IP Moat offers one-click removal requests. Brand Protector drafts takedown packages for you. We prepare each notice with the evidence and the right form, and you file it.
That last step is deliberate. The person who files a notice is the complainant, the statement that you're authorized to act is made under penalty of perjury, and the seller may see who complained. We think that decision should stay with you. It also keeps the price down. If you'd rather hand off filing completely, a managed service is the better fit, and you should expect to pay more for it.
How we priced ours
Three plans at $99, $249 and $499 a month. They differ only in how many products we watch (10, 50 or 200), how often we look, and how many people can log in. Every plan covers every platform we support and prepares unlimited notices. The details are on the pricing page.
Questions people ask
How much does Corsearch cost?
Corsearch doesn't publish its prices. Its website routes buyers to a demo or a sales conversation, and its /pricing address returned a 404 when we checked on 4 November 2026.
How much does BrandShield cost?
BrandShield doesn't publish its prices either. Its site offers a demo, and its /pricing address returned a 404 when we checked on 4 November 2026.
How much does Red Points cost?
Red Points publishes self-serve prices: $174 a month for one trademark, plus a monthly price for each marketplace you add, from $15 for a single site to $285 for Amazon and $820 for all marketplaces (checked 4 November 2026). It reports listings to the platforms for you, its page says a registered trademark is needed for enforcement, and starting requires a signed Master Services Agreement.
Is brand protection software worth it for a small business?
It depends on how often you find copies. A few a year are cheaper to report yourself, and our free guide shows you where. If new listings appear every week, or the same sellers keep coming back, paying for software usually costs less than the hours you'd spend searching and filing.
Why don't the big vendors publish prices?
They sell mostly to large companies, where each contract is scoped and negotiated. That works for a legal team. It leaves a small brand unable to compare anything before a sales call.
Should I pay per marketplace?
Only if you're sure copies will only ever appear in one place. Copies tend to move, and a seller removed from one marketplace can list on another the same week. Paying per marketplace makes following them more expensive, which is why every one of our plans includes every platform.
